Our Story: Reviving a Cherished Landmark

Nestled in the breathtaking surroundings of Duck Mountain Provincial Park, Duck Mountain Lodge is more than just a destination; it’s a place where memories are made and revived. For many, this lodge holds a special place in their hearts, and our story is one of bringing it back to the community that loves it.

A New Beginning

After being left abandoned for nine years, the lodge was scheduled for demolition. For some, it marked the end of an era, but for us, it sparked a new beginning. We saw the potential to restore this cherished landmark, and with a vision fueled by passion and countless hours of hard work, we embarked on a journey to bring it back to life.

This revival was made possible through the dedication and investment of our team at Duck Mountain Motel. We are deeply committed to our community and work hard to serve you. With our locations in Kamsack and Madge Lake just ten minutes apart, we are proud to provide exceptional service and hospitality across the region. Today, we are honored to give this lodge back to the community that holds so many fond memories within its walls.

The true magic of our location lies just outside our doors. Duck Mountain Provincial Park is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts year-round.

In the winter, you can explore over 60km of groomed snowmobile trails complete with four warm-up shacks stocked with wood. Our trail system connects to paths in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, offering endless adventure. You can also glide through 45km of lush cross-country ski trails, hit the slopes at Ski The Duck, or enjoy a peaceful day of ice fishing or skating.

During the warmer months, the park comes alive with opportunities for horseback riding, relaxing on the beach, boating, and fishing. The natural beauty here is unparalleled, all waiting for you to discover.
